Depression symptoms without sadness

What are the signs of depression? How does depression differ from sadness? Do not confuse sadness with depression? Significant increase or decrease in eating. Insomnia or over-sleeping.

Restlessness or being slowed down physically. Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt. Isolation and loss of motivation. Loss of appetite and loss of weight. Agitation and combativeness.


Changes in sleep patterns. Deterioration in home and self-care.
