The paranoid person will just grow suspicious at seeing someone be sympathetic towards him, and will just spiral deeper into further paranoia.

Because of the nature of the disorder, it is often very difficult to persuade people who suffer from paranoid personality disorder to trust a mental health professional. Stories of paranoid personality disorder indicate that in addition to treating others with extreme suspiciousness, the person with PPD may constantly argue, complain or be standoffish.

As well as making me angry because, well, it’s a horrible, generalized comment to say about people with BPD. TB germs can live in your body without making you sick. Paranoid personality disorder ( PPD ) is a long-term, mental health condition.


PPD causes you to be suspicious, distrusting, and hostile toward others.

You may have trouble trusting or getting along with others. They also need to have a high degree of control over those around them. They are often rigi critical of others, and unable to collaborate,. But for some individuals with BP becoming the “go to. A person with PPD is in touch with reality and not suffering from psychosis, meaning they are not delusional or having hallucinations.


They often isolate themselves due to their mistrust in people and their fear that others may exploit or harm them. I just started reading this today and I have been crying reading about all the things others are experiencing trying live with someone with PPD because I have experienced it myself. I work in the counseling field but have been trying to keep from admitting to what is in front of me with my husband.


Educate yourself about PPD. Write down the concerns and questions you have and discuss them with her doctor or therapist. Make a list, together, of the things that may provide an outlet for her so. It is very important to remember that only someone with active TB disease in the lungs can spread the germ. From there, the bacteria can move through the blood to other parts of the body, such as the kidney, spine, and brain.
